Indonesia and Saudi Arabia have expressed their deep concern for the humanitarian crisis in Gaza as a result of the ongoing Israeli military offensive. This concern was highlighted during the official meeting between Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud (MBS) during Prabowo’s state visit to the Kingdom. Both countries have agreed to intensify coordination in providing emergency aid and broader humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza.
The official joint statement released by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) emphasized the commitment of both nations to continue offering humanitarian aid and support for recovery efforts in response to Israeli aggression. In addition to discussing the situation in Gaza, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia also underscored their mutual determination to deepen cooperation in ensuring international stability and security. They pledged to collaborate in promoting regional peace and strengthening global resilience.
The meeting, held at Al-Salam Palace in a friendly and warm atmosphere, showcased the strong strategic ties between the two countries.
