President Prabowo Subianto made an appearance at the 2025 Indonesian Science, Technology, and Industry Convention (KSTI) held at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). The event, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) in collaboration with ITB, aimed to showcase innovations and research-based technologies. President Prabowo toured various exhibition booths, including the “Flagship Research Products” booth from Padjadjaran University.
In his remarks at the Sabuga Hall, President Prabowo expressed his appreciation to the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Professor Brian Yuliarto, and other distinguished guests in attendance. The theme of the convention, “Science and Technology for Economic Growth and Equity,” highlights the importance of research, science, and technological innovation in driving national economic transformation.
KSTI 2025 also features exhibitions from national priority sectors such as energy, defense, digitalization, downstream industry development, healthcare, food security, maritime affairs, and advanced materials and manufacturing. The convention plays a crucial role in the government’s strategy to pave the way for Golden Indonesia 2045.
