Jakarta, [07/06/2024] – The Chairman of the Gerindra Party and President-elect of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, has handed over a recommendation letter to the East Java Governor candidate, Khofifah Indar Parawansa, and the Vice Governor candidate, Emil Dardak, for the upcoming 2024 Governor Election.
At the event, Prabowo affirmed Gerindra Party’s commitment to fully support the Khofifah-Emil duo in the East Java gubernatorial race. “They have proven their performance; their achievements are commendable and have helped improve the welfare of the people in East Java. We need them to accelerate the development of East Java as a key province,” said Prabowo.
Prabowo also stated that all Gerindra Party cadres will be mobilized to ensure the victory of this pair. “Gerindra will deploy all its cadres to win for Khofifah-Emil,” he added.
Khofifah and Emil, who currently serve as the Governor and Vice Governor of East Java, are recognized for their solid track record in leading the province. Their achievements in various fields, including economic and social sectors, have brought many positive changes to the people of East Java.
With full support from the Gerindra Party, the Khofifah-Emil duo is expected to continue the development programs they have started and propel East Java towards more rapid progress.
